Hispanic Food Around Grand Junction, Co.

College Students from around the world travel to Grand Junction, Colorado, to attend Colorado Mesa University, while away from home, the lack of fresh homemade meals becomes evident as the option of chicken nuggets or grilled cheese from Flat top stays on many students' daily menus.

Luckily for CMU students, Hispanic food is embedded all around the county, and many authentic meals are available.

UTop It- UTop is a local frozen yogurt business, but it also carries many delicious items that bring comfort and good flavors. Their menu includes Hispanic food such as Birria Sundays, Mangonadas, Elotes, tortas, and much more.

VIP tacos- This food truck and restaurant is the go-to for many locals as it is close to Colorado Mesa University, and stays open later hours. This taco stand also carries menu items such as Birria tacos, Birria ramen noodles, burritos, and other menu items sure to spice up the day.

Los Jilbertos- Also known as Los J’s, this popular restaurant always has a line with hungry students. Los J’s is a 24/7 restaurant that provides fast service and good quantities of food. A go-to hangover food to anyone passing by this restaurant carries Super fries, burritos, combination plates, and other foods to cure any hangover.

Though all these restaurants are delicious, I am very fond of the atmosphere that surrounds U-Top it.
